In 2021, we hosted the 31st annual meeting of the Society of Mining Professors and the event was very successful despite the fact that we were just coming out of the pandemic. Today we want many people to visit us and at the same time have the opportunity to get to know the Colombian mining industry, as well as the School of Mines of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
This meeting, which will take place in the city of Medellín, Colombia, will be tremendously beneficial and fun for all participants. It will not be just another international conference, but rather an unforgettable experience, accompanied by a strong technical content integrated with informative and practical forums and discussion panels, which cover our areas of interest for future educational needs, research opportunities, and collaboration. Finally, a great opportunity to establish contacts and develop long-term professional relationships.
