The Organizing Committee of SDIMI 2026 warmly invites researchers, professionals, industry representatives, and policy-makers from around the world to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations. The conference will be held in Medellín, Colombia, one of Latin America’s most dynamic centers for innovation and sustainable transformation in the extractive industries.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
- Abstract length: Maximum 300 words, written in English.
- Format: Include the title, authors’ names and affiliations, and corresponding author’s email.
- Keywords: Up to five (5) keywords.

- Deadline for submission: March 15, 2026
- Notification of acceptance: April 30, 2026
Presentation Types
- Oral Presentations: 15–20 minutes, including discussion.
- Poster Presentations: Presented during dedicated interactive sessions.
All accepted abstracts will be included in the SDIMI 2026 Abstracts Proceedings
